Facilities We offer space for workshops, events and celebrations at the Stables. We also offer accommodation to visiting students, researchers, writers and artists in Ardyne. The Stables The Stables lie half a mile above the town of Cromarty and was converted in 1995 to accommodate a Gallery, artists’ studios, workshop rooms, a darkroom, and a one-bedroomed flat. An adjoining game store has been converted to provide a light and airy studio workshop. The rooms can be hired for exhibitions, concerts, etc. The grounds outside form a natural amphitheatre creating a perfect setting for open air theatrical events. For more information, please click here.         Ardyne House - Accommodation The Trust offers affordable accommodation to students, researchers, writers and artists visiting Cromarty for stays of between one month and one year. Ardyne House is situated at the heart of Cromarty and offers a peaceful place in which to write and think.
