Book Week Scotland Event

Posted on

A good crowd showed up at the Old Brewery on 24th November for our annual free Book Week Scotland event.  Inverness author, Jennifer Morag Henderson spoke with slides about her biography of crime writer, Josephine Tey, also from Inverness.  Moira Forsyth, herself an author and publisher/owner at Sandstone Press, talked about her experiences of setting up a successful publishing house in the Highlands.

The evening was hosted by another local author and former Cromarty Arts Trust trustee, Anne Macleod, and following a Q&A session, the audience enjoyed some refreshments before heading off into the evening clutching their free copy of the 2016 Book Week Scotland publication, 'Secrets and Confessions'.
