Cromarty Voices Singing Workshop with Corrina Hewat

Cromarty Arts Trust is putting together a series of workshops for local people who have always wanted to be part of a big singing group.This group will meet regularly and the emphasis is very much on having fun and learning to sing a variety of songs in a group. The workshop leader, Corrina Hewat will encourage people to bring along their favourite songs and she will also be exploring the possibility of finding some songs local to Cromarty and the surrounding area. Corrina will teach a choice of levels of harmony, accompanying rhythms, techniques to develop the voice to help the group as well as the individual to flourish. All songs will be taught by ear so no music reading will be necessary although words and music will be  available.

Cost of the day long workshop is £10. Please bring a packed snack lunch. Tea and coffee will be available and booking in advance is highly recommended. If you've always wanted to sing but lack a little confidence, then this is the workshop for you.
