Stone Letter Cutting with Robbie Schneider

Robbie Schneider studied sculpture at Camberwell and Byam Sham Art Schools in London and later trained in lettering with a wide variety of teachers. He is a full member of Letter Exchange and of the Scottish Lettercutters Association. Robbie exhibits widely and has done many public and private commissions. His work can be found throughout Britain, from Kent in the South to Shetland in the far north. Robbie’s work is primarily in stone but he also works in wood, sheet metal, cast bronze and other materials.
Robbie is really looking forward to his first course in Cromarty and comes very highly recommended by Richard Kindersley. In fact Robbie attended Richard’s very first stone letter cutting course here in Cromarty 10 years ago and went on to create his own letter carving career.
Cost of the course is £495 for 6 days tuition. All materials, lunches and stone will be provided and the stones can be purchased at the end of the course.
Accommodation can also be provided at the Old Brewery.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
