Frankie Morrow

Frankie Morrow are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with. Expect fresh, riotous rock songs from this ambitious quintet. Fresh off the back of a slot at Glastonbury festival, Scottish rock band Frankie Morrow are on a mini tour of the Highlands and playing the Black Isle at Resolis Memorial Hall.

Their debut EP, Blue Parrot Backpackers Hostel, landed multiple spins across BBC Radio 1, BBC Scotland, Amazing Radio (playlisted) and a subsequent live session for the station. The EP, featuring Nick Pini on double bass (Laura Marling, Tom Jones) attracted attention from blogs such as God Is In The TV, Atwood Magazine, Get In Her Ears and in print for Snackmag.

A busy live year culminated in a headline tour and EP launch show at the Sebright Arms. The band have been busy recording a follow-up EP at Platoon, which will see the group lean into indie and alternative rock. In April 2023, Frankie Morrow supported Radio 6 favourites Gabi Garbutt & the Illuminations whose upcoming EP will be released under indie elite Du Blonde’s label.
