Book Launch with Richie McCaffery

Richie's book, 'Ballast Flint' has just been published. This collection has 18 poems which were written and collated during his stay in Cromarty as Writer-in-Residence in April 2011 during the celebrations of the Sir Thomas Urquhart 400th Anniversary year.

The poems have been illustrated by another of our Artists-in-Residence, Hannah Rye who won the Student Prize in 2010. Her collagraph prints are the perfect illustration to Richie's poems.

Richie will be reading from his work after the Chamber music concert with Sarah Spence and Sammy Lee. The book launch starts at 6pm and is free and there will be a book signing by the writer.
