Robbie Schneider studied sculpture at Camberwell and Byam Shaw Art Schools in London before specialising in lettering sculpture and inscriptional carving. Working across stone, wood, bronze and other materials, his work is recognised internationally for its technical excellence, sculptural quality and innovative approach to lettering.

Robbie has exhibited widely and completed major public and private commissions throughout Britain, from Kent to Shetland. He is chairman of the Scottish Lettercutters Association, a former chairman of Letter Exchange and an elected member of the Royal Society of Sculptors. He regularly teaches workshops across Britain, Europe and Australia.
