Brigid Collins

In 2004, Artist and Illustrator Brigid Collins came to Cromarty and produced some amazing pieces of work. She was inspired by the peace and tranquility of the surroundings, and made a lot of friends in Cromarty. She wrote of her residency:

“My residency was an enriching experience on many levels, especially in terms of my creative development. Such an opportunity to be released from the everyday concerns of one’s life is not to be underestimated in terms of it’s value, and Cromarty is, I have found, a very lovely setting in which to be so released.”
