Violinist Charlotte Rowan is regarded as one of Britain’s leading violin virtuosos and has gained recognition for her dazzling virtuosity and gripping communicative power. Accompanied by Charlotte Stevenson on the piano, her concert will chart a fascinating lineage of the violinistic genre and follow a trail of composers through centuries and continents.
The programme will include Vitali’s Chaconne, Grieg’s Violin Sonata No. 3, Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasy, Schubert’s Valse Caprice, Ruralia Hungarica by Dohnanyi and Brazileira by Darius Milhaud.
