The Cromarty Group was founded in 1976 by a group of friends and artists who all
lived in Cromarty and wanted to exhibit their work together.
This format of a group of friends has continued, but inevitably the membership has changed over the years. The group has a dozen members who all stay in Cromarty or nearby and their work includes painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking and ceramics. Guest artists are invited to exhibit with the group each year.
