Greengold Projects and Authentic Artist Collective present:

Following her Edinburgh Fringe success, award-winning musician Mairi Campbell presents Pulse, her one-woman theatre show. A homecoming in viola, voice, movement, animation and storytelling it is the story of Mairi’s quest to heal cultural wounds.

From classical training at London’s Guildhall, to love and danger in Mexico and discovering step-dancing in Cape Breton. Campbell “becomes a bold chameleon in her own back-story, switching characters as she goes… On a stage bare but for a rough-hewn pendulum – its flat stone culled from her family’s croft – Campbell opens her throat in a spirit of belonging that is ancient and modern, and life affirming for all of us.” Herald ****.

Pulse is touching, funny and potent with a universal message to be true to yourself.

Please note, this show is one hour long with no interval. There are no refreshments on offer.

“A mesmerising performer...an exhilarating blend of music, movement and animation" Scotsman
