Holiday Sewing club! Introduction to machine sewing for children. FULLY BOOKED
This club is four sessions long:
Two on Wednesday 26th July: 10am - 12.30pm and 1.30 - 4pm (please bring a packed lunch).
Thursday 27th July - 10.00am - 12.30pm and 1.30 - 4pm (please bring a packed lunch).
This class is suitable for children aged 8+, they will learn the basics of how a sewing machine works and how to use it safely. Sewing is a lifelong skill which is brilliant for anyone to learn. This class will give your kids the confidence to use a sewing machine and an understanding of basic sewing terminology. Over the four sessions they will make a some fun summer themed projects which they will take home at the end of the class. If your child already has the basics of machine sewing they can move on with a more complex project.
All fabrics, sewing tools and haberdashery will be supplied.
Children are welcome to bring their own machine (if they or family have a machine that they would like to learn on) however there will be machines available to use for each participant.
