- Applied Craft Workshops
NB. This class was previously advertised for 27th March, THEN 1st May and now will happen on 23rd October - and at the Stables NOT the Old Brewery. Apologies for any inconvenience.
This workshop provides an introduction to simple notebook techniques.
The folding and stitching techniques you will learn will enable you to produce a variety of different types of notebook and form the first steps in the craft of bookbinding. The tutor, Georgia Crook, will bring along a variety of papers and threads that you can use but the emphasis will be on producing your notebooks from everyday materials, so you are welcome to bring along some of those treasured (or even not so treasured!) samples you may have stashed away at home.
Equipment list to bring (though tutor will have spares on hand):
Ruler (ideally steel, if you have one)
Pencil and rubber
Cutting mat (if you have one)
£65 Includes tea / coffee. Please bring a packed lunch
To book your place, request a booking form by email firstname.lastname@example.org or tel 01381 600354.
