WinterSings

When: Friday, November 27th 2015 - Sunday, November 29th 2015

WinterSings is a brand new event in Cromarty - a whole weekend of song participation in Gaielic, Harmony and Scots. You can also attend workshops in Song Accompaniment as well.

The whole weekend will take place in the Old Brewery and tutors are Maggie MacDonald on Gaelic Song, Amy Lord on Scots Song, Corrina Hewat on Harmony Song and David Cowan on Accompaniment for Song on Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele or any of the stringed instruments.

Cost for the residential weekend is £150.

This includes 2 nights accommodation with full Scottish breakfast at the Old Brewery, 4 workshops over the weekend with your choice of tutor, a traditional ceilidh concert on Friday, dinner on Saturday, Saturday night session and lunches both days.

Saturday 28 November
AM Breakfast in the Café for residents 8.30am to 9.30am
LOFT STUDIO from 10.30am to 12.30pm:  Harmony Singing with Corrina
STUDIO 1 from 10.30am to 12.30pm: Songs plus guitar/strings accompaniment with David
STUDIO 2 from 10.30am to 12.30pm: Scots song with Amy
Tea and coffee will be available in the café from 11am.

PM Lunch for all participants from 1pm


LOFT STUDIO from 2.30pm to 4.30pm:  Scots song with Amy
STUDIO 1 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm: Gaelic song for beginners with Maggie
STUDIO 2 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm: Harmony singing with Corrina
Tea and coffee will be available in the café from 3.30pm


Dinner in the Café for residents from 6.30pm to 8pm


LOFT STUDIO from 8.30pm:  Singing session led by weekend tutors
