NB. The 9-12 year old class is now FULLY BOOKED. If you would like to put your name on a waiting list, please email us.
Cromarty-based letter artist and former graffiti writer with over 20 years experience, Thomas Keyes will lead a day long workshop to teach participants all the skills and techniques needed to create graffiti art.
From sketching different letter styles, to colour choices, shadows, highlights and outlines, all aspects of style, terminology and spray painting technique will be covered. Participants will then create their own piece on a 2ft by 4ft board.
There will be two classes, one for 9-12 year olds on 6th July and another, more advanced session for those 13 and over on 7th July. Please make it clear at the time of booking which day you require and the age of the child.
These workshops are being run in conjunction with the Cromarty Youth Cafe and will take place outside, under gazebos in the Victoria Park. Snacks, juice and packed lunch items will be available.
The resulting artwork will be displayed in the village and can later be taken home.
As this project is being funded by The Middleton Trust, there is no cost for participants but priority is given to those that are Cromarty-based, as per the Trust's directive.
