Turning Pedals into Poems - Open Mic Night

An evening of spoken word, story telling and poems with Caroline Burrows. The first part of this evening is an open-mic session so if you have a song, poem or story to tell, just give your name at the door on arrival.

Join the cycling poet Caroline and her bike at the Old Brewery for an hour of spoken word and stories on themes ranging from adventures by bike, star gazing, the Northern Lights, love, community and trees.

Tickets on the door: Pay What You Can: £6 minimum suggested, but if price is a barrier please still come along. BYOB.

Caroline's first full collection of poetry will be released by Jawbone/Wessex Media in March 2024, when it will be available to order from: www.wessex.media.com.

An e-book of her 'It's Not Easy Being Green: A Year of Trying to be Environmentally Friendly: A Verse a Day for a Year', (the video version of which was shortlisted for the Sustainability First Arts Prize) is available via Kofi at www.ko_fi.com/versecycle/shop 

Caroline is also running a free, informal creative writing sharing sessions (no teaching involved) in Fishertown Inn every second Thursday evening, starting 4 January.
