Rebecca The Sewist is back in Cromarty!
Ever fancy making your own clothing? Unsure about darts, buttonholes, sleeves and zips Not sure how to follow a pattern or want to progress in your garment making journey then this class is for you. Bring along a pattern of your own choice and be guided through how to make the garment. A brilliant class for learning new skills and be amongst other people who enjoying sewing too.
If you are unsure what pattern to bring along, you are also very welcome to contact Rebecca for help and advice in choosing a suitable pattern. Rebecca will also have a selection of patterns that you can choose from.
Suitable for anyone who has a basic knowledge of using a sewing machine or who has completed our beginners sewing class.
All tools that you need will be supplied however you are welcome to bring your own also.
Sewing Machine
You will be required to bring your own sewing machine (which can be left securely overnight within the sewing room) this allows you to learn and become familiar with your own machine. There will also be a limited amount of extra machines available if you do not have your own machine please enquire upon booking.
The Basic Sewing Kit
It would be helpful to have a basic sewing kit for this course, but not essential as there will be tools available for use.

Hand sewing needles
Threads
Bobbins suitable for your machine
Zipper Foot
Temporary markers - this could be tailor's chalk, fade or wash-away pen
