Visual Art Workshops

FULLY BOOKED!  A waiting list is in operation.

The aim of the workshop is to explore the village of Cromarty and the surrounding landscape/seascape and townscape in sketchbooks, drawings and paintings. Participants will be asked to visually explore these environments through painting and drawing.  Responding to what you see, hear and feel, we will look at ways to develop your paintings/drawings and help you discover your own unique artistic response through your mark making.

Through a process of walking, drawing and painting directly in the Highland landscape and working repeatedly in different places chosen and revisited many times, artist and tutor Jonathan Shearer has developed an intimate connection with the wild places of Scotland.  Visit www.jonathanshearer.co.uk to find out more.

£110.  A delicious, home-made lunch is provided each day.  Participants will be given a short material list in advance.

We require a 25% deposit to reserve your place - email or tel 01381 600354.  Jonathan's courses are always popular - book early to avoid disappointment!
