- Applied Craft Workshops
A fun and experimental day spent exploring textile printing using a transfer process known as 'heat transfer' or 'sublimation printing'. Using this simple and exciting technique, tutor Morag Tweedie, will guide you through how to transfer colour and pattern from paper onto cloth and produce a range of fabric samples.
Initially you will work from ready-prepared papers before moving onto painting and preparing your own range of papers. You will develop these into design ideas in collage, over-painting, exture and pattern before producing a final range of experimental prints and over-prints.
All materials and equipment will be supplied.
This one-day workshop is repeated on Sunday 26th September.
£70 Includes tea / coffee and all materials. Please bring a packed lunch each day.
To book your place, request a booking form by email firstname.lastname@example.org or tel 01381 600354.
