Sadly we have had to cancel Dorec-a-Belle this year. They will be back in June 2024, date to be confirmed. We apologise for the disappointment.
Inverness band Dorec-a-belle were unable to celebrate their 10th anniversary in lockdown so are making up for it by getting back out on the road and gigging across the Highlands and beyond. This female-fronted 5-piece have performed all over Scotland at numerous venues and festivals, several summers at the Edinburgh Fringe including a live performance on Clive Anderson's BBC Radio 4 Loose Ends programme, and multiple headline concerts at Eden Court's One Touch Theatre and Under Canvas.
With instrumentation of sax, accordion, guitar, double bass, drums and 5-part harmony vocals, Dorec-a-belle's sound has been described as 'hauntingly beautiful'. Their own original songs are complemented by a selection of well-chosen covers from the 1960s to the present, so don't forget your dancing shoes!
